This guided tour starts in Sofia and takes you to the most attractive areas in northwestern Bulgaria.

Day 1: Sofia

Arrival in Sofia and transfer from the airport to your hotel. Overnight in Sofia.

 

Day 2: Sofia – Belogradchik

Guided tour of the Bulgarian capital – National Assembly, Cathedral of Alexander of Neva, Churches of St Sophia and St Nicholas, Rotunda of St George, National Bank, National Theater of Ivan Vazov, Banya Bashi Mosque, Catholic Cathedral of St. Joseph. Free time and departure to Belogradchik. Tour of the city and visit of the Belogradchik fortress. Built within the local rocks, the fortress is considered an exceptional phenomenon – unbeatable fortification, offering breath-taking panoramas and 360-view over the region.

Night in the Belogradchik region.

 

Day 3: Belogradchik – Vidin

Enjoy upon your preferences – flight with hot air balloon, jeep trip along the rocks, local wine tasting, walking tour or bicycle tour of the region. In the afternoon, continue to the Danube River and Vidin. City tour of Vidin and visit to Baba Vida fortress. Optional boat trip on the Danube. Night in Vidin.

 

Day 4: Vidin – Sofia

Drive back to Sofia. On the road, visit Vratsa to enjoy the city’s landmarks. Continue to Sofia. Night in Sofia.

 

Day 5: Sofia (departure)

Return transfer to Sofia airport, according to your flight schedule.
