Day 1: Sofia
Transfer from Sofia International airport to your hotel. Night in Sofia.

Day 2: Sofia – Rila Monastery – Bansko
Signtseeing tour of Sofia, capital of Bulgaria: Sofia University of St Kliment Ohridski and National Library, Cathedral of Alexander Nevski, National Assembly, Russian Church of St Nicholas, Church of St Sophia,  National Art Gallery, St George's Rotunda. Drive to Rila Monastery (UNESCO) and tour of the monastery complex. Night in Bansko.

Day 3: Bansko – Dobarsko – Plovdiv
Visit the church of Dobarsko, considered a sacred place in the country and world-known for its frescoes. Continue to Plovdiv, one of the oldest cities in Europe, ex-European capital of culture (2019). Sightseeing tour of Old Plovdiv – Roman theatre, House of Lamartine, Church of St Constantin and Helena, Roman stadium, Dzhumaya Mosquee. Free time in the artistic and colorful Kapana quarter.   
Night in Plovdiv.

Day 4: Plovdiv – Sofia
Free time in Plovdiv. Drive back to Sofia. Night in Sofia.

Day 5: Sofia / departure
Transfer to Sofia International Airport according to flights.
